A must try are these great breakfast or dessert mini fruit pies topped with glaze! They are absolutely delicious and only as complicated as you would like them to be!
You could very easily make your own home made biscuits, but I was wanting something fairly quick and easy and I knew that these would certainly do the trick! Apples are one of the only fruits that my lil man will choose to eat, regularly and now that they are in season this was a perfect snack.
I was happy to have even had a few apples left over for the start of the week, as I was able to make another batch that served as a wonderful breakfast treat. Not to mention that I could use any kind of jam or jelly, to give them variety in the mix. I actually ended up filling the last couple of the breakfast pies with seedless strawberry jam, because my lil miss loves strawberry.
By adding my wonderfully yummy glaze to the top, the kids certainly gobbled them right up. Of course, I had to tell both children that they could not drink the glaze, as they both begged me for!
The larger the biscuit, the easier to simply fold over the filling to make little pies. But for standard sized biscuits, I simply used two cans of biscuits and put the second flattend biscuit over the top of the filling.
