Now on to her questions…

1. Which holiday is your favorite and why?

I really love Halloween! Not really sure why, other than maybe because it is the one that I never had much participation in, but the times I did, were awesome!

2. What is your favorite non-profit organization that you like to support or would like to support?

I love to donate to thrift stores! If I could, though, I would donate to organizations such as MS Society, Cancer Society, & the Heart Association.

3. What is something unique about the region you live in?

Well, I am not really sure if this is unique or not, but it is flat! LOL! I live in the Midwest in the Soybean Capital of the world!

4. What is your favorite recipe?

Pink Fluffy Stuff, which is a light cheesecake that uses strawberry J-ello. It is a recipe that my mom used to make.

Final Pink Fluffy Stuff

5. Who is your celebrity crush?

This one is easy! LOL! David Tennant, who played the 10th Doctor Who!

David and Billie

6. What is your favorite thing about autumn?

I think that I would say it would be the changing of the leaves! I love the rainbow of colors!

7. Have you done any traveling? If so, where?

Most of my traveling has been in the states…except for the one Caribbean cruise. I have been to Gatlnburg, Tennessee on my honeymoon; Indiana; Lake Tahoe and Reno, Nevada; Denver, Colorado; Custer, South Dakota and Miami, Florida!

8. What is your biggest fear?

I think that my biggest fear would be that maybe my kids’ significant others won’t like me.

9. Can you think of one major event or series of events that changed the trajectory of your life?

Being a caregiver to my mom for the last 5 years that she was alive and losing my favorite uncle less than a week after my mom passed away…changed me in so many ways! I learned that I could handle any situation that was thrown at me, that I am strong, and that my faith is unwavering!

10. What is your favorite childhood memory and why?

I think the Halloween parties that we used to have when I was in Elementary school! Back when you could have a real Halloween party, not a “Fall Festival”! We could bob for apples, find the prize in the bowl of “eyeballs” (grapes) or “worms” (spaghetti)! Getting candy…witches, ghouls, gobblins, vampires, and ghostie costumes everywhere! Along with homemade cupcakes and treats that were supplied by parents! Those times were a ton of fun!

Thank you so much Chirleen, for swapping with me this week! Be sure to stop by A Harvest Reaped and read her answers to the questions that I asked her! Also, don’t forget to stop by and get to know all of the other amazing links!
