This week I am thrilled to be swapping with my new August Meandering Mondays co-host, Miranda from Grace and Gravy! She will also be offering a very heartfelt story as a guest post, next week! Be sure to stop by her site and show her a little love and check out the answers to the questions that I asked her!

AAF 15 Miranda

Miranda is the author behind the blog Grace and Gravy with a side of life! She is a Crunchy, Country Mama giving her look on a Homemade Life of Homeschool, Good Eats, (Mis) Adventures, and Living Grace-Filled Everyday! Miranda resides in Arkansas with her sweet husby William that she has been married to for 15 years and a homeschool mama to kiddos Keegan and Lindy. She loves her four-legged, fur babies and they make her life complete. Miranda is passionate about blogging, reading, crafting, cooking, planning/decorating, and learning to be a more self-sufficient Homesteader.

Now for my answers to Miranda’s questions…

1. How long have you been blogging?

I actually started at the end of December of 2013. I started out with a blogger account and spent the first few weeks tweaking the site and sidebars, getting the feel of posting, and pretty much getting my bearings in the bloggy world.

2. What do you enjoy the most about your blog experience?

It really is all about the people. I have come across some of the most amazing people, and people that I really do consider friends.

3. What are your other interests besides blogging?

Oh that’s easy! LOL! I absolutely love spending time with my kids, and I love to bake. But, I also love to read romance novels and listen to music.

4. Are you an inside or outside person?

LOL! Most definitely an inside person! I am not into the little buggy creatures that tend to pester. LOL!

5. How long have you been married?

My current hubby and I have been married for about 12 1/2 years, though we have been together for 17 1/2 years.

6. How did you meet?

LOL! We actually met when my dad married his mom, so we were briefly…and I do really mean briefly, step-brother and step-sister. But I was 11 then and he was 19, I lived with my mom and only saw my dad some on weekends, and our parents were married for less than two months…married on Mother’s Day and divorced by the Fourth of July! 😉 LOL!

7. What are your strengths?

I am stubborn, strong-willed, honest, kind, and I don’t give up easily. 🙂

8. What are your weaknesses?

I am stubborn, strong-willed…lol…and I can get depressed and anxious though those are also traits where stubborn and strong-willed come in handy! 🙂

9. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

While there are many places throughout the States and Canada that I would like to see, and a few more Caribbean Islands that I would love to explore…my dream is always of Scotland, anywhere throughout would be lovely, but Urquhart Castle on the banks of Loch Ness would be an absolute dream come true!

10. If you could talk to one person who has passed on who would you want to talk to?

Now this is a really hard one, because while I would love to have at least one more heart to heart conversation with my uncle…there is another part of me that would love to talk to my paternal great grandma and try to find out more about that side of the family.

Such amazing questions!

Thank you so much Miranda for swapping with me this week! Be sure to head over to Grace and Gravy and read the answers that she gave to the questions that I asked her! And don’t forget to pop by and visit our other #AAF family members to read their fun Q & A’s!
