#AskAwayFriday 21 with Beth at Structure In An Unstructured Life!

Hooray, hooray, hooray! It is that time again, time for #AskAwayFriday!

Question-Mark-pink1

For those of you who have not heard of Ask Away Friday, here is the gist of this amazing opportunity. It is a fabulous way to make new friends, meet and get to know your fellow blogger friends by simply exchanging 10 questions with another blogger and then sharing those posts with your communities. I was invited to join in a couple of weeks ago and have quickly become addicted…for such a shy person, this is an amazing way to get to know people.

AskAwayFriday

This wonderfully awesome opportunity is brought to the bloggy world by the amazing Penny from The Real Housewife of Caroline County and Amber from Bold Fab Mom. Please stop by and check them out, you won’t regret that you did!

This week, I have the great pleasure to be swapping with a new bloggy friend courtesy of #AskAwayFriday, the wondrous Beth from Structure In An Unstructured Life! Beth has an amazing blog with tons of Parenting, budgeting, organizing, meal planning, and any other thing that comes along with the adventure! Stop by and show her some love!

1. I see you have three kids. What are their ages and what are your favorite and least favorite things about these ages?

D-man is 20, Lil man is 14, and Lil miss is 11.
Each age is great at 20, D-man is mostly grown up, working full time and out on his own…it makes me proud to see the man that he has become, which would be my favorite thing. Least favorite would be that I miss him, since he has moved out on his own. For Lil man at 14, it is great to see the care and compassion that will make up the young man he is becoming…least favorite would probably be the opinions! LOL! As for Lil miss at 11, she is still my little girl in so many ways, with just a sprinkling of the young lady that she will be, as for least favorite I guess it would be that she can still be a bit clingy at times. Oddly every age fascinates me, I love watching their personalities grow as they grow.

2. What’s one thing you miss about working outside the home?

More than anything I miss the friends that I made, that I don’t get to see very often anymore.

3. How do you plan to ring in the new year?

I am not really sure. Our normal celebrations are very quiet and spent at home together with just the hubby and I and the kids complete with an array of munchies.

4. I’m not much of a winter girl. How about you – do you like to play in the snow or prefer to cuddle up by the fire?

I do not like winter at all, if I had my way I would be in the tropics!

5. What’s your favorite thing about homeschooling?

I love knowing that the kids are getting a far better education than what public school offered.

6. Do you make New Year’s resolutions?

No not really, though I have things that I would like to accomplish like losing weight and getting healthier.

7. I noticed you have a bucket list on your blog. Are there any bucket list items you have already accomplished or checked off?

Oddly, no.

8. If you had to choose one cause you are most passionate about, what would it be?

Gay rights. As a proud mom of a homosexual child, I want for him all of the same rights that I have when it comes to love and life.

9. Would you rather have a day at a spa, a day shopping, or a day site seeing?

Oh a spa day, with all of the trimmings! Massage, mani, pedi, facial, and another massage! LOL!

10. What’s your favorite thing about blogging?

All of the amazing folks that I have been blessed to get to know. I am generally an extremely shy person, face to face, and it is hard for me to get to know others. Blogging gives me the ability to get to know others without that shyness getting in the way.

AskAwayFriday
